Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with Rebecca Dell’Aglio, PhD. Services are appropriate both for clients currently in therapy and for those who are not.
What’s different about working with me?
While we know that ketamine alone has antidepressant and anti-anxiety effects, it is the meaning we make of our ketamine journeys, and the way that we integrate this meaning into our lives, that makes its effects truly long-lasting. As a clinical psychologist with over seventeen years of experience as a trauma therapist, I can help ensure that you get the most out of this powerful medicine, in a safe, containing space.
If you are already in on-going therapy, I will collaborate closely with your therapist to ensure that your experience is aligned with your therapeutic goals.

What I offer
- Careful coordination with the referring clinician to tailor ketamine assisted therapy to the client’s needs (if applicable)
- 2-3, 45 minute preparation sessions (more as needed). These sessions will orient clients to how ketamine works and what to expect from ketamine journeys. This time will also be used to set intentions for the journey and to identify themes that we might work on. These sessions are insurance reimbursable for those with out-of-network benefits.
- Ketamine journey sessions (quantity and frequency to be co-determined by client’s prescriber and myself depending on client’s needs). Journeys typically last 60 minutes. I work closely with clients to determine a therapeutic mindset and setting for them to derive the most benefit from their journey. We meet for one hour immediately following the journey to begin integration.
- 45-60 min integration session following each ketamine journey. These ideally take place 24-48 hours after each journey and are the time to begin putting the client's journey experience into words. Through integration we begin the process of establishing new neural connections that evolve into new thought patterns and ways of being. When these sessions take place on a different day than the journey, they are insurance reimbursable for those with out-of-network benefits.
